Primary Job Responsibilities
WHI Solutions, an eBay Company, is one of the fastest growing software companies in the country. We provide web based eBusiness solutions to the Transportation Market. Solutions include eCommerce, eCatalog, Distribution Management and Business Intelligence. Our core customers are Automotive and Heavy Duty Parts sellers and Service Providers.
This position is responsible for managing a development team of 15-20 technology experts across multiple disciplines including open source and MS products. These teams are located on both the west coast and east coast and the ideal candidate would be located in one of our offices. This person must have strong communication skills both verbal and written and be well organized. Strong expereince with Agile and Waterfall SDLC's a must and how best to apply. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Business, Sales and Customer Service teams to build strong scalable solutions. A background with Architecture is a strong plus. The candidate will also work with the Project Managment and QA teams to deliver solutions on time and of quality. Process driven solutions a must and enjoys working in a fast paced organization.

Job Requirements

* Previous experience managing an ecommerce development team.

* Previous demonstrated experience in building products from the ground up.

* Working knowledge of open source with specific requirements around PHP/Linux.

* Working knowledge of MS including MSSQL and .net environments.

* Architecture background a strong plus to build scalable/enterprise solutions.

* Very strong people management skills including coaching and mentoring employees to excel

* Very strong communication skills verbal and written with working knowledge of the office product suite

* 7- 10 years experience showing a strong career progression.

* Product development experience a must and with proven track record over multiple products and years.

* 3-5 years experience in a management

* Demonstrated technical knowledge of open source products like PHP and Microsoft .net and MS SQL.

Education BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree
