The Traffic team is responsible for the systems and algorithms powering all of eBay''s advertising, as well as its affiliate program and outbound e-mail. We are passionate about building intelligent targeting and scalable platforms to grow eBay''s market share, and we are looking for top-notch applied researchers.

In this role, you will:
- Use your passion for advertising and technology to find opportunities in eBay''''s log data and other data
- Conduct experiments, write prototypes, write specifications, and optionally write production code to deploy new features and methods that improve traffic''s targeting and efficiency
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to develop strategic and tactical enhancements to our ads, e-mail, and affiliate network
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members
- Communicate your methodology and results to a community of researchers, developers, analysts, and product managers working on a number of related technologies
