Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY Executes engineering tasks under the direction of an experienced Electrical Engineer. Must be capable of following through on short term projects with limited supervision. Requires aptitude in basic Microsoft Office tools. Ability to generate process instructions and integrate photos, charts, graphs, Visio files etc. into Microsoft Word docs. Competencies PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Verification testing of system sub components – printed circuit boards, memory modules, power supplies, disk drives • Component level trend analysis and corrective action • Generate performance and qualification reports • Component failure analysis tools support • Material and equipment disposition • First Article Inspection and reporting • Project coordination and execution • Maintenance of test equipment, hardware and software tools • Provide resolutions to small and intermediate problems. Use judgment within defined policies and practices. • Work under limited direction. Determine and develop approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.
