Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support Pricing (Strategy, Price Setting, Implementation and Communication) for several EMC product lines

· Perform strategic analysis, evaluate competitive offerings/pricing, sales performance, materials costs, executive strategic direction and field inputs to develop pricing recommendations

· Evaluate and track financial impact of pricing recommendations

· Engage cross-functional teams from Product Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Direct Sales, Channel and Engineering. This is a highly visible role, requiring regular updates to Senior Executives

· Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategy to educate sales and channel partners about pricing moves

Competencies
QUALIFICATIONS:

· MBA with 2 years post-MBA experience in corporate finance, marketing. OR 5+ years relevant IT industry background and demonstrated analytical, logical and quantitative skills; MBA preferred

· Strong and insightful analytic and research skills with the ability to think strategically and work tactically

· Demonstrable team leadership skills in a team setting where team members are not direct reports

· Excellent oral and written communication skills; active listening ability

· Expertise in information technology industry preferred, but not necessary
