EMC is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, high-energy, results-driven sales professional. The successful candidate must have experience and a successful track record selling Enterprise Content Management Software solutions and/or BI/Analytics/BPM/Document Management experience in a corporate account environment.
The motivated candidate will qualify and prioritize prospects; generate individual opportunities; and prospect through personal networking and relationship building. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of relevant software sales experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. In addition, the ideal candidate must show a demonstrated success in exceeding annual quota, and be experienced closing transactions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Candidates will have a proven track record of 'getting in front of the customer' and be primarily "hunters" as opposed to "farmers". Growth path to management is available to successful sales representatives who can demonstrate leadership ability.
· Demonstrable ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
· Self starter with new business development success.
· Must have experience selling to the Fortune 1000
· Minimum of five years of relevant sales experience in direct sales of complex software applications to enterprise companies.
· Will bring extensive ECM sales experience
· Excellent communication skills with both customers and company team.
· Superior proposal preparation skills.
· A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Completion of professional sales training courses, such as, Miller Heiman or equivalent is desired.
· Experience with SalesForce.com nice to have
This is a regional position so travel is required (up to 40%)
