Job Description Entry-level Software Developer to assist with the design, development, and testing of custom software and applications built around RSA's authentication product solutions. The individual will work within a small Professional Services team to support all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, including coding, QA testing, software maintenance, and documentation. The projects will likely revolve around developing custom applications that leverage Web 2.0 and web services concepts to support authentication credential lifecycle management functionality.
Competencies Desired skills and experience, some or all:
- Web 2.0 experience, REST and SOAP web services,
- AJAX driven web development with JQuery or other Javascript frameworks a plus
- Web UI experience and prototyping, HTML, XML, XHTML, HTML 5 a plus, JSP experience preferred, ASP.NET a plus
- Java, J2EE and/or Tomcat servlet engines, .NET, ASP.NET, Spring framework a plus
- Database experience a plus, JDBC, AODB, etc., SQL databases
- Mobile app development, iOS, Android, BlackBerry, HTML5
- Web server deployment and configuration experience, Apache, IIS, etc.
- Understanding of information security fundamentals a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated
