Job Description The Divisional/Region/Country Sales Business Lead will act as the line of business lead and be a Trusted Advisor and Subject Matter Expert with deep consultative and technical expertise in their respective product, technology and organization.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success selling EMC or competitors products and services and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This candidate must also have expert industry/market segment domain expertise, strong working relationship with strategic partners, cross functional working skills and be a strong team player.

Primary Objectives:
Help build, define and own charter, objectives, and metrics on: role and responsibilities, field enablement, strategic priorities, optimum org and model and KPI’s on specified line of business or product/solution set for the Div/Country. This individual will be the “go to” person and will drive and continue to refresh training and best practices for field around; positioning, whiteboards, certifications, -, acct planning, performance metrics, reporting, sharing best practices and tech engagements.

Sales Enablement
•Delivering on formalized GTM initiatives Increase mindshare and relevance of EMC to strategic partners and core field organization, both sales and technical via local education, sales tools and business planning and account mapping
•Drive relationship mapping, territory plans & field business development activities such as seminars and other demand generation events Lead the effort of proactive approach with strategic partners and or core field organization, etc. for better joint coordination and acct planning.
•Help define the ideal profile of technology centric rep/DM and help lead the review and assessment of existing talent, build and deliver development plans, and be part of upgrading efforts to assure future profiles are selected.
Field Engagement:
•Assist on business development of emerging technologies into core accounts
•Focused on global / enterprise
•Engaged with key account teams and un-penetrated accounts aligned within core to identify new key opportunities
•Drive account mapping and strategic account planning exercises Area/District level with core and/or strategic partners
•Establish and monitor a regular joint account pipeline review process reflecting current account activity.
•Drive the capture and reporting of evidence that supports objectives and joint business value proposition (ie. wins, customer references, whitepapers, etc.)
•Liaise between the customer and the engineering and/or partner organizations to influence future product/solution enhancements based on feedback

Education and Professional Qualification Requirements:
•7-10+ years IT sales experience
•Industry specific technical expertise is a must
•Experience working with global SI/ISVs
•Excellent presentation and communication skills

Travel Requirement:
•Minimal travel may be expected across assigned geography
