Job Description
A Senior Presales Engineer is responsible for presales technical/functional support activity for EMC Information Intelligence Group (IIG) division. IIG is responsible for sales activities of Enterprise Software solutions and Senior Presales engineer takes over responsibility for individual business projects, prospective clients and current customers in assigned territory, in this case Czech Republic and Slovakia. This is an individual contributor position reporting to a Systems Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work as part of sales team to formulate account strategies
- Conduct requirements surveys at customer sites
- Discuss and articulate solutions to business problems with customer's executives and staff
- Own the technical relationship with the customers and is responsible for ensuring that Information Intelligence Group wins product evaluations
- Architect IIG-Applications-based solution to customer's problems
- Build and deliver custom presentations to customer
- Demonstrate products to small and large audiences
- Develop competitive knowledge and leverage in sales cycle
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices in Enterprise Software selling
- Conduct and lead customer onsite Proofs-of-Concept
- Be a visionary to our prospects
- Continue to develop and expand industry and product knowledge
- Own the technical relationship with the customers and is responsible for ensuring that IIG wins product evaluations
- Provide innovative solutions and strategies to solve complex issues and client's business problems
- Provide detailed evaluation of opportunities, task plans and technical approaches for projects
- As integral member of the sales team, provide effective presentations, demonstration and technical support
- Develop specific areas of expertise in addition to maintaining broad product skills
- Travel within your assigned territory as required

Competencies - Higher Education
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English
- Pre-sales experience, ideally from the field of Document Management System projects
- Technically skilled, experienced in design and customization of Enterprise Software according to customer's needs
- Customer-oriented, able to take part on presentations and face-to-face debates with customers
- Able to listen and analyze to customer's system challenges both from technical and process point of view
- Can-do-attitude, proactive approach towards daily challenges and customer difficulties
