Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY
Leads the formulation of business plans and execution for a large IT infrastructure software line of business within the company. Drives product management processes to optimize product definition, maximize the value of products to EMC's business and product impact in the marketplace. Will provide industry insights, and drive product direction within the company and the industry. Creates "first, best content" which describes and communicates product vision and product direction for customers, analysts, and internal EMC audiences. Formulates tactics to support the growth associated with a business line. Understands the competitive ecosystem.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the business plan associated withmultiple products in the storage and network management areas.

Shapes and/or champions new direction for the business line. Works closely with Engineering teams to execute on product delivery. Leads direction of products working cross-functionally across the company.
Formulates tactics to support the growth associated with the business strategy.
Identifies new business opportunities and assess potential acquisitions and partnerships in support of business development.
Mentors and coaches a distributed team for high performance achievement.
Tracks and analyzes product/business expense and cost. Creates and delivers complex concepts in tiered succinct terms.
Influence actions to change direction of events when it is in the best interest of the business. Master of EMC and industry dynamics as it applies to EMC's business.
