Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY

* Responsible for working with various Microsoft (MS) and EMC stakeholders to define the EMC MS Technology Partner Management (TPM) business and high level technical vision for the Microsoft Wave 15 portfolio that includes Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, and the Dynamics Axapta and CRM products

* Responsible for rationalizing, defining, and working with the Product Management, Engineering teams, and various EMC Product focused Business Units to build a Wave 15 Enterprise and SMB focused solutions portfolio that leverages EMC Storage Arrays, and 3rd party server, networking, and apps from leading vendors such as Cisco, Brocade, and SAP

* Responsible for participating in MS TPM team planning and the development of operational goals, scorecard metrics, schedules, and work plans that are consistent with unit, divisional and company-wide standards

* Regularly works to articulate the MS TPM Wave 15 direction across EMC Business Units, the EMC Enterprise Solutions Group, Corporate Marketing, Field Services and Sales organizations, and various Microsoft Product Groups, at various industry events, and with various customers as needed WW

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

* Managing the day to day business and high level technical relationships for the Microsoft Business Division (for Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, and Dynamics)

* Work with MS and EMC cross functional departments including corporate marketing, engineering, customer service, professional services, product management and operations teams to determine business and technical needs and ensure these needs are conveyed to the appropriate organizations. Where identified, drive the creation or refinement of EMC product features

* Aligning MS Wave 15 and EMC product roadmaps

* Developing and maintaining the integrated MS/EMC Wave 15 Business/Alliance Plan which expresses the corporate strategic approach to the alliance, and also outlines the areas of technical collaboration, marketing campaigns and sales engagement model, etc.

* Develop and enhance partner relationships and perform as a product strategist, solutions architect, project manager, and strategic planner for multiple partners simultaneously

* Responsible for evangelizing and integrating the Wave 15 business and high level technical priorities across EMC Product Groups and interface with senior management as needed to report on Wave 15 related project and program milestones

* Requires the ability to influence others to achieve results, demonstrated ability to collaborate within organization and cross functionally. Skilled at reaching the appropriate resolution in many varied situations, with consideration for internal and external relationships

* Well-developed negotiation and presentation skills, for technical and non-technical audiences

* Manage the progression of the Wave 15/Proven Apps initiative through program application, negotiated contracts, initiative development, initiative review, and initiative market launch
