Lompoc Valley Medical Center is a 60-bed facility serving Lompoc, California that opened its doors in July of 2010. Its major services include Diagnostic Imaging, Intensive Care, OB/GYN, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Perioperative/Surgery Department.  The radiology department has new, high resolution MRI and Spiral CT scanner available 24 hours a day.   Hospitalist Department: - 18,500 Annual Volume - Acuity ranging from minor care to major trauma - 24 hours of physician coverage - 14-17 patients per provider - Physicians on call for 6-bed ICU - Procedures not required of Hospitalist but sometimes helpful   Criteria: - BC Internal Medicine with related experience   Offering: - Full Employee Benefits package - “A” Rated Paid Malpractice Insurance - 401K and Elective Deferral Plan  - full time physicians can defer up to $40K per year - CME allowance of $2,000.00 - Premium Reimbursement Account (PRA)
