Description
Medical device company seeks a temp-perm candidate to provide administrative organizational and research support to the sales team with limited supervision. Candidate MUST have a manufacturing background along with advanced Microsoft Office skills and some sales admin experience.
The position is about 20% administrative in nature. The ideal candidate would have CAD experience but this is only a plus. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. Experience working in a sales group, in the medical device industry strongly preferred.
1. Monitor and provide administrative support to Quote Requests. All other responsibilities are subordinate to this responsibility.
Act as the "lead facilitator" in the quote process:
i. Schedule and run the Kickoff Meeting for all quotes. This involves all key stakeholders (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales) to answer a series of questions to frame and define the scope of the project.
ii. In tandem with the Cost Analyst work one-on-one with each stakeholder to answer questions related to the specific functional aspects of their departments.
iii. Schedule and facilitate a Final Checklist Review which is a meeting to pull everyone back together and have one final pass at the answers provided.
iv. Schedule the Quote Review Meeting.
