We are in search of a qualified Specialty Retail District Manager to be located within the Atlanta, GA market who would like to be part of a world-class chain of stores. This district covers an 18 store territory including Georgia and parts of South Carolina and North Carolina.

As customary in many Specialty Retail Organizations our District Managers are actively involved in the following accountabilities for their assigned areas:

Business:

• Oversee the measurable operational components for the district

• Hold management team accountable for merchandising standards with in the store

• Demonstrates the ability to audit stores for best practices

• Apply process improvements across a broad set of operational practices

• Drive sales, financial management and ensure profit and productivity goals are met

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the specialty retail environment

People:

• Create and cultivate diversity within the district

• Build and maintain a management team through networking and recruiting qualified retail professionals for our Manager in Training program and Store Management

• Oversee the training and development of potential internal candidates, especially in the area of succession planning to achieve future growth

Service:

• Cultivate a district approach toward public relations, events, promotions, and other community efforts

• Create exceptional store experiences for our customers through sales ands service initiatives

Requirements to be considered for this position:

• 3-5 years of Specialty Retail Multi-Unitdistrictmanagement experience (candidates applying that have no District Management experience will not be considered for this position)
• Proven results of driving and achieving measurable success within your area of responsibility
• Passion for retail and meeting the various needs of the targeted consumer base within our stores
