Description

The Staff Educator develops, coordinates and presents general orientation program for nursing staff. Assists in re-orientation of all staff as required by policy and procedure. Evaluates the effectiveness of education programs and re-designs as needed. Revised updates policies and plans associated with staff education. Reviews training literature and makes recommendations to leadership. The Staff Educator provides healthcare educational activities which include issues related to health promotion, prevention, maintenance, and restoration. The overall goal for the Staff Educator is to improve the knowledge and skills of nurses and other allied health practitioners which enable them to provide the highest quality of patient care and the highest environment for patient safety.

Qualifications:
·BSN
·MSN preferred.
·Current demonstrated knowledge and skill with 3-5 years experience in areas of responsibility.
·Experience in curriculum development and principles of teaching are necessary.
·Licensed and currently registered.
