Description The Specialist partners closely with the Private Client Group Senior Account Executive to review and analyze a clients' estate planning questionnaires. This individual is responsible for analyzing a client's current estate tax situation to determine whether there may be a potential tax liability and developing estate planning strategies that may help improve their situation (potentially reduce the future estate tax liability while aligning with their legacy goals.) After the estate planning analysis is developed the Specialist will work closely with the Distribution representatives to present the estate analysis to customers. In addition to client discussions a large component of this role involves educating / training representatives on estate planning and planning strategies. Review client questionnaires Identify planning strategies which may make sense for the client Development estate planning analysis (client-facing document) Provide quality assurance for each plan prior to delivery Take inbound phone calls regarding estate plans Training PCG and Premium Reps on Estate Planning Strategies and Techniques Facilitate HNW Client presentations - articulating the potential value of outlined strategies and related product and services Facilitate Estate Planning Seminars in the field with HNW clients Research estate tax questions and strategies in support of Fidelity Viewpoints This position requires the ability to properly assess a client's information and determine planning strategies that may apply. This person will also be responsible for the quality of the information that is delivered to the client. As a resource for FPWIS sales representatives, this role requires knowledge of Fidelity products and services. Expect daily contact with the field representatives and their clients as well as Fidelity business partners.
Qualifications Qualifications Law degree Required Additional financial services industry designations ( CFP, ChFC ) a plus Trust and Estates background 10+ years business experience Financial services product knowledge Securities and or insurance licenses a plus Training and Presentations skills Proven ability to function as a team player Proven strong customer orientation Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ) Proven strong organizational skills Estate Planning Specialist
