The Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) organization (Boston) is seeking a product manager to support its Business Process Manager (BPM) platform offering, which provides image management and workflow capabilities to its clearing correspondent clients. As part of this product team the product manager provides input to the product strategy and roadmap, identifies and implements application integration and reuse/optimization initiatives, and manages resources in the support of releases and projects associated with BPM. The role also identifies penetration opportunities, leads or manages client implementations and services existing clients.

Approximately 10% travel required.

Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) enables its business partners to win in their respective marketplaces by designing, building and maintaining technology platforms and products for the home office, the advisor and the end consumer. Our clients consist of more than 200 broker dealers and 3,500 advisor firms.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support sales initiatives
Assist team in sales meeting preparation and delivery
Demonstrate BPM and complimentary platform products to prospects and clients via the web.
Provide strong technical support in areas of product features, functionality, configurability and integrations.
Support product implementations
Assist in the tactical planning, design, development, testing, deployment and support of multiple concurrent BPM implementations.
Help document and maintain client requirements (business, functional and technical) to support delivery and support of BPM technology.
Maintain product deployment specification documentation.
Manage documentation and oversight of client requested change requests.
Helps ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) adherence for all clients.
Support product development
Provide input to business cases and requirements documentation for product development initiatives.
Work across FIT platform and product groups to identify opportunities for organization-wide technology initiatives.
Document end user feature requirements.
May assist in the continued development of product strategy, roadmap and plans for development, delivery and support.
Project Leadership
Assists in the completion and implementation of multiple major initiatives.
Responsible for meeting on-time and on-budget project goals.
Possesses full project life cycle experience.
May participate in the identification of and planning for future resource needs.
Helps provide technology solutions to daily issues and manages relationships to provide ongoing customer service.

Education and Experience:
4 year college degree
A minimum of 4 years of Financial Services experience with BPM industry/technology experience preferred
Previous experience selling, servicing or implementing Financial Services or BPM technology solutions

Skills and Knowledge:
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Strong project management skills, ability to manage complex sales cycles including: product overview and demonstration, proposal preparation, and post-sales production support.
Proven ability to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.
Must be able to work effectively both within a team deployment environment and independently while demonstrating excellent organizational and activity prioritization skills.
Strong PC skills with a strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel as well as Web collaborative tools such as WebEx and CRM solutions.
