The FPCMS Operations Excellence team provides measurable value to Fidelity Pricing & Cash Management Services (FPCMS) through a partnering relationship with the business to enable efficient, effective and continuous process improvement. This generates significant value and cost efficiencies for the enterprise. The team achieves this by educating the business units and helping with the application of proven techniques and methodologies.

As a member of the Operations Excellence team, the Director of Quality is responsible for maintaining the strategic leadership, focus and subject matter expertise for the FPCMS Incident Management program which includes event response, root cause analysis and remediation management. Reporting to the Operations Excellence VP, the Director is responsible for working with the various FPCMS business units to ensure that operational best practices are embedded into the incident management process with an overall intent of ultimately optimizing operational quality and reducing risk.

Position Responsibilities
Lead, co-lead or provide subject matter expertise on incident response, root cause analysis, issue categorization and solution development & implementation as appropriate.
Provide thought leadership, identify & implement enhancements to improve incident management, operational controls and efficiency.
Lead or co-lead ongoing analysis and management reporting of operational incidents.
Assist in incident escalation internally and externally as requested.
Lead and/or co-ordinate meetings with various stakeholders to discuss incidents and related periodic performance.
Assist in the maintenance of an ongoing and effective control and process environment.
Plan, lead and /or execute Quality checks as requested by the Business Units.
Support senior leadership's strategic and transformational initiatives.
Support continuous improvement solutions and work-streams.


Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required - MBA strongly preferred.
A minimum of 6-10 years of work experience.
5+ years financial services experience (mutual fund experience a plus).
Experience in incident management, process review and operations data analysis.
Experience leading teams on projects.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
Management consulting experience desirable.
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification a plus.

Skills and Knowledge
Strong and demonstrated leadership skills.
Deep knowledge of quality control and assurance functions and related tools.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and a demonstrated ability at influencing change.
Strong ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability for results.
Strong analytical skills with a practical common sense approach.
Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
Strong presentation and data analytics skills including the use of desktop analytical software.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience - Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio.
