The Electronic Data Transmissions (EDT) team is responsible for implementing connections between Fidelity, clients and vendors and supporting the file transmissions across multiple products across PWIS. Be part of a team of 10 that sets up and trouble shoots file connections. Analyze and develop solutions for files transfer set up requests that come from the business. Analyze and trouble shoot connection issue tickets that come from the client.

Primary Responsibilities
Establish Managed File Transfer (MFT) between Fidelity and our clients / vendors using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) - Network Data Mover (NDM)
Perform batch and data support activities (make sure that files have been transferred through the use of JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various Mainframe tools and practices such as Control M, TSO, ISPF, SQL, etc.)
Communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical associates
Build and maintain day-to-day internal and external relationships in order to provide an ongoing high quality level of service to customers
Help determine which transmission method will best serve their transmission needs
Review level of security / encryption, protocol and overall transmission complexity

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related IT/IS field of study
3-5 years of working experience and strong knowledge of FTP / SFTP / NDM protocols
1-2 years of experience analyzing connections and setting up automation
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Familiarity with AXWAY a plus

Skills and Knowledge
Ability to research issues related to transmission failures
Ability to function effectively in a critical role balancing multiple projects and requests
Ability to adjust communication to level of target audience providing clear, concise, and articulate updates as needed
Effectively participate in meetings / calls with customers and vendors
Utilize sound judgment and recommendations to reach critical organizational objectives
