the lead sales provides leadership and contributes to an elevated clientele driven selling culture.
Responsibilities:
client & service expert:
? expertise in the development of a clientele
? build and maintain new/existing client relationships and has a strong, productive client book
? maximize sales through proactive client outreach and appointment selling
? demonstrate strong selling skills, high service levels
? build strategic relations within the community to generate business opportunities

leadership presence:
? achievement of personal sales goals
? extensive product knowledge
? partner with store manager and assistant manager to elevate selling culture
? partner with store manager and assistant mangaer to inititate business driving events in store

building brand equity:
? ability to understand and can communicate the kate spade brand aesthetic, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the sales team and customer
? build strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador of the company
? communicate client feedback to store manager and assistant managerto elevate client service and sales
? adhere to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity

operational excellence:
? perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers and securing facility

Qualifications:
skills and abilities required:
? two to three years experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment
? strong communication skills
? proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture
? elevated sense of personal style
? college degree preferred

physical requirements:
? available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings and weekends
? standing for extended periods of time
? able to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds
? comfortable climbing ladders
