The Manager, Information Technology, manages a team of employees responsible for Windows management. Manager of this team is responsible for providing customer focused leadership. This means coaching employees to be efficient, professional, and customer centric while utilizing an advanced technical skill set to resolve day to day issues independently.  Ensures staff are compliant with reporting requirements and standard operating procedures. Manages resources to meet or exceed service level requirements as set forth for workflow management through Remedy. Provides guidance, planning and direction for business unit(s), Maintains budgets and proactively allocates resources and time to support the business units or functions they support. Translates strategy into action.  Proactively coordinates projects and develops strategies with peers, other technology support teams and our business customers

Job Specific Responsibilities

This position requires that the successful candidate must be a lawful permanent resident or US Citizen.

Candidate Requirements

• Four plus years of related technical and business experience.
  
• Strong level technical and management experience with Intel server hardware and Windows operating systems, networks and security.
  
• Prefer strong technical background in installing, configuring, and maintaining Wintel servers, associated system utilities, and providing support functions (i.e. Backup and Recovery, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage management, Vendor escalation, etc).
  
• VMWare and Citrix expertise also preferred.
  
• Managing senior level windows administration expertise is a plus.
  
• Experience utilizing technical knowledge to consult and participate on technical solutions and project management activities.
  
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
