Position Summary: Senior Java Developer - eBusiness

This position will work in the eBusiness Commercial Management Product Line and implement eBusiness initiatives and technical projects. Must be able to translate business needs into effective technical solutions using J2EE and other related technologies. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Web/Commerce systems and services that support the company’s E-Commerce business objectives. This position offers a challenging career to work on systems that interface with multiple systems including multiple ERPs, Search Engine Technologies, Middleware and Legacy Systems.

Job Functions

* Work closely with development manager, architect, project manager, business analysts to design, develop, unit test, debug and maintain commerce related web applications based on functional requirements and scope of work.
* Contribute and confirm to eBusiness adopted software development standards.
* Participate in production deployment and provide assistance to production support group when needed.
* Participate in continuously making the applications perform better.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* 5-10 years experience in development eBusiness web applications using Java technologies.
* Must have good Java and J2EE expertise, must know J2EE Best Practices and be up to date on the latest J2EE and related specifications.
* Experience with J2EE architectures, design patterns, and complete application development lifecycle; of J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, JMS, JSP, Struts and RDBMS (Oracle or SQL Server); strong proficiency in ANT, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, XML and Unix.
* Be performance driven, self starter and work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent team player with strong verbal & written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
* Be highly motivated to adopt new technologies, challenges and work in an agile environment.
* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of diverse environments and components.
* Hands on work experience with Hybris, CQ5 would be a plus.
* Experience with Informatica, Content Management Solutions and GIT/Mercurial/Harvest would be nice to have.
