Fitness for Health, a pediatric therapeutic center located in Rockville, MD, is seeking a fitness specialist intern to assist with one-on-one training and group programming for children. Our pediatric population includes children with varying skill levels, ranging from developmental disabilities to high performing athletes. The intern will be responsible for helping the trainer implement exercise programs in our innovative facility. The candidate must be creative, well-organized, self-motivated and have experience working with children in the following areas: therapeutic exercise, fitness, athletic development, weight management, yoga and/or physical education. The intern would have the opportunity for employment at the end of the internship. We have openings for full and part-time trainers including weekends.
