Los Angeles based FLAVOR GROUP (www.flavorgroup.com) is seeking ambitious students (marketing/advertising/comm majors a plus) looking for an extremely hands-on opportunity to gain invaluable experience at a reputable, full-service marketing consortium in LA. Flavor Group executes 360-degree brand experiences for major corporations (Red Bull, SanDisk, Hitachi, SCION, Fernet-Branca), specializing in tying together interactive/social media campaigns with live events where both platforms--live and online--support one another, creating a high level of community engagement enabling people to "touch" brands.

In 2011 alone, Flavor Group produced a series of special events in New York City, London, Paris, San Francisco, Denver, Phoenix, and Kansas City working alongside musical tastemakers A-Trak, Chromeo, Above & Beyond, Dada Life, Atlas Sound, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Nadastrom, Dillon Francis, and Bart B More.

Job Responsibilities include:
? Assist in organizing events from inception to conception.
? Perform venue, activity, and destination research (locally and nationally)
? Lifestyle and nightlife research
? On-site event tasks and event organization
? Marketing research media trends
? Assist with all general office procedures including data entry, scheduling appointments, organization

Qualifications:
-Interest in event marketing/production and creative marketing
-Excellent communication skills via phone and email
-Proven ability to think strategically, solid presentation skills, and ability to assist on a national brand
-Avid social media user
-Experienced in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint)
-Ready to work in fast-paced environment with deadlines
