Florida Tile, Inc. is currently looking for skilled maintenance candidates for the Lawrenceburg manufacturing plant. This positions will be responsible for maintenance duties throughout the plant. They are 2nd shift positions working 12 hour days/4 days one week and 3 days the next week.

Summary - Responsible for Repair and Maintenance of Production Equipment primarily in your assigned area, but occasionally anywhere in the plant as the need arises.
Duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electrical and mechanical equipment.
? Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment, including disconnecting devices, conduits, wiring, overload protection devices, gear boxes, chains, hydraulic valves, electrical and mechanical motors.
? Troubleshoots, repairs and tests A.C. and D.C. control circuits, microprocessor and logic gate circuits, times sequence circuits and programmable controllers.
? Repairs air compressors, air conditioners, hoists and maintain product handling equipment.
? Maintains all electrical equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code
? Practices correct safety procedures and maintains safety systems on all production equipment.
? Work areas must be left clean during and after a task. All doors, covers etc. must be closed or replaced.
? Performs related tasks as required.

SKILLS:
? Must possess and be able to demonstrate initiative and logic in resolving complex electrical and mechanical problems.
? Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.
? Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams.
? Basic knowledge of the theory of logic/gate circuitry, microprocessor controllers, and control sequence/timing devices.
? Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local electrical codes as applies to industrial plant operations.
? Skill in the use of equipment testing devices.
? Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
? Basic knowledge of methods for fabrication or modification of new or existing equipment.
? Basic knowledge of press functions.
? Skill in welding and the use of a cutting torch
? Skill in the use and care of tools of the trade
? Must be willing to attend company sponsored training courses in the United States and abroad.
? Must be willing to work overtime hours as needed and accept night weekend call-in for emergency work.
? Ability to follow oral and written directions.
? Basic skills necessary for interaction with PC software applications; ie. MP2, MS Office, etc.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:
? High School diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Industrial Maintenance Program or military equivalent. Curriculum must include electric training.
NOTE: This is a second shift position working 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating shift.
