Job Description:

Civil Engineer


Foth is a consulting engineering, science, and construction services firm delivering technical solutions for public and private clients.  We are currently seeking a self-directed, results-oriented Civil Engineer for our Minneapolis/St. Paul location.


 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


·         Under the direction of a lead engineer complete technical design reports and feasibility studies


·         Design engineering for sewer, water, roadways and storm water utilities


·         Develop and coordinate design plans and permit applications with associated utilities


·         Collaborate with CADD staff to generate design plans and specifications for bidding purposes


·         Demonstrate strong interpersonal/communication skills and a willingness to engage in learning through internal customers


·         Provide construction observation on utility projects on occasion as needed


·         Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and residents regarding project scope, schedule, and other project issues


·         Assist in completion of OM Manuals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering


  • 2+ years of experience


  • E.I.T. Certification



 


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Prior experience with the following:




    • Streets/roadway and utilities design


    • Field work including construction observation and/or administration


    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
