Job Description:

Foth is a consulting engineering, science and construction services firm delivering technical solutions for public and private clients around the corner and around the globe.  We are currently seeking a self-directed, results-oriented Construction Manager for our Green Bay, WI office.


Primary Responsibilities


·        Perform on-site construction management of Foth resources and contractors for design-build projects to preserve project profitability, schedules, quality, and adherence to specifications


·        Lead and foster partner relationships with contractors to ensure safety and project delivery within budget and on-schedule scope (change management)


·        Exercise judgment to independently resolve day-to-day issues on construction site


·        Provide value-added input to project review


·        Support the development of construction management expertise within Foth through direct application of skills and coaching of others in best practices


·        Build client satisfaction, loyalty and trust


·        Coordinate and implement project safety plans and procedures


·        Monitor project progress on a consistent basis and initiate activities to ensure profitability, schedule, and quality issues are addressed


·        Anticipate project roadblocks and issues; devise and implement contingency plans


·        Prepare and present project status reports as agreed with Project Manager


·        Facilitate the clash resolution process by demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills


·        Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills


Required Qualifications


·        BS Construction Management or equivalent technical experience


·        10+ years of construction management experience including leading multidiscipline construction teams


·        Experience with construction projects in at least one of the following areas: sediment dredging, dewatering and disposal methods, or carriage water and storm water  treatment/management processes


Preferred Qualifications


·        BS Construction Management


·        15+ years of industry relevant experience


·        5+ years working on CERCLA/RCRA sites


·        Experience leading multi-discipline construction efforts with extensive customer/client interface and interaction with the public
