Foth Production Solutions, LLC, partners with selected Fortune 500 companies to accomplish product making and production objectives, including: plant rationalization, new product introductions, productivity improvements, custom machine development and manufacturing, changeover reductions, capacity increases and efficiency improvements.   As a result of our growth objectives, we are seeking highly motivated and accomplished individuals, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for excellence, to fill the role of a Lead Technical Engineer/Project Manager, with opportunity to grow into a Client Team Leader role.

This individual will be directly responsible for successful project execution that is consistent with our client's expectations.  They will be expected to encourage and motivate a multi-disciplined team to support their client's engineering, equipment and capital execution needs, enabling them to dominate in their market. This individual will also write proposals which will include concepts, deliverables, effort hours, estimated costs, while providing regular direction to other engineers and designers.   Establishing relationships and leading client interactions will be key throughout each phase (design, bid, build, installation and start-up), in order to ensure successful execution of various engineering projects including Design Build.

Strong business and financial acumen to assist the Client Team Leader in creating and implementing strategic plans to meet our overall business goals will be required in order to be successful in this position.  Fluency in English (oral and written) is required, as is travel to the United States; approximate total travel time will average 50%.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering


• P.Eng.


• 10+ years of experience with food and beverage systems


• 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams of engineers


• Previous experience with the following:


• Leading cross functional/multi-disciplined teams


• Capital project funding/management 


• Cost estimating (labor hours and capital cost estimates)


• Contract negotiation and management


• Engineering consulting


• Executing capital projects with multi-disciplined and geographically-dispersed teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15+ years related business experience


• 10+ years of project management experience


• Previous experience with brewing industry equipment


• Project Management Certification


• Bilingual (English and French)
