PURPOSE AND SCOPE:


Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values quality policy and goals of plant incorporation. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.



Installs repairs and maintains machinery and equipment for the production line.



DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:



CUSTOMER SERVICE:



  • Responsible for driving the FMCNA culture though values and customer service standards.
  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance (PM) and all related documentation in compliance with current procedures.
  • Prepares requisitions and maintains adequate supply of spare parts.
  • Complies with and observes safety regulations relevant to the maintenance and repair of equipment and facility.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules while ensuring manufacturing equipment is operating properly.
  • Proactively identifies measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of operation, department, or work crew.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position involves active work, including walking and/or standing for considerable lengths of time. Bending may be required. Must be able to lift and carry materials of up to 75 lbs.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Related trade schools experience a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2 plus years experience in a manufacturing environment troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
  • Welding.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience working with PLCs.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and flash arc.
  • Familiarity with calibrations preferred.
  • Exposure to FDA and GMP regulations a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds of parts or equipment.
  • Ability to stand, kneel and bend for long periods of time.
