DescriptionTitle: Manager, Human Resources
Location: US-OH-GROVEPORT Other Locations: * Build effective relationships with GID and Gap Inc. business partners, employees, as well as community and industry resources. * Ensure effective communications – up, down, and across the business * Development of facility and overall GID-Operations HR strategy; responsible to identify, influence/support business operations and initiatives * Identification and resolution of critical HR and/or business issues * Identify and implement best practices to enable continuous improvement and enhanced employee engagement * Ability to develop and analyze HR Metrics and make business recommendations based on metrics. * Ensure facility represents an employer of choice with a positive and safe work environment * Lead the development and application of fair and consistent policy and procedure * Lead daily operations of Human Resource Department specific to Employee Relations and Employment, including leading and developing direct reports * Develop bench strength within Department to contribute to raising the standard of the overall effectiveness and cohesiveness of the GID HR Team * Draft first pass of yearly budget and effectively execute all activities within scope of budget * Develop and execute staffing plans for open positions * Assess and deliver training and information needs * Assist employees with HR related needs and questions * GID Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related Human Resource matters specific to the Ohio facility. * Point of contact to Gap Inc.’s SME’s and other campuses as necessary * Model and drive Gap’s Wear Your Passion” culture and philosophy 1) Knowledge, skills & abilities: * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required. * Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills. * Demonstrated leadership experience and effectiveness * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Ability to flex work schedule to meet business needs * Ability to collaborate with key business partners; to anticipate, interpret and overcome obstacles; to continuously improve the customer experience * Ability to serve as the Health and Safety primary contact 2) Minimum educational level: * Associates Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field required * Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field preferred * Graduate Degree and/or SHRM Certification a plus 3) Minimum experience: * 5 years of Human Resources experience * 3 years of supervisory experience * 1 year(s) of experience in a Distribution Center/Contact Center environment preferred Apply on Company Website |
