Job Duties Responsibilities Brooklyn GEICO Staff Counsel is seeking a litigation attorney for their Westbury office. Applicant must be a licensed New York attorney. Position requires a minimum of 4 years experience in personal injury third party litigation. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing their own caseload from inception to jury trial. All applicants must have demonstrated trial ability in cases of moderate severity and complexity. Applicant must have taken liability and damages jury verdicts. The position requires the attorney to have the necessary experience to immediately assume mature files and be prepared to try multiple jury cases. Travel to Brooklyn court houses and trying jury cases is required and an essential job function. Proficiency in computer use is a must.
