Customer Service Dispatcher (Accident Tow) Job Listing at GEICO in Macon, GA

DescriptionJob Duties Responsibilities When our policyholders are involved in an accident it is extremely important to remove their automobile from the road or highway as quickly as possible. As a Customer Service Dispatcher (Accident Tow) you will be trained to assist our customers by verifying policy coverage, obtaining the necessary information needed to locate a GEICO contracted towing company and make arrangements to have the vehicle safely moved to an appropriate destination. Customer Service Dispatchers (Accident Tow) serve GEICO customers in different cities throughout the United States. Customer Service Dispatchers (Accident Tow) resolve problems and complaints from policyholders and towing companies and initiate follow up calls to policyholders for purposes of Quality Assurance. Customer Service Dispatchers (Accident Tow) are also trained to perform the functions of an Emergency Roadside Service Dispatcher and assist the ERS department as needed. Candidate Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills * Multitasking skills required * Prior customer service experience * Demonstrated job stability * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Strong computer skills * High level of dependability * Must be comfortable working in a call center environment Shift Information Start Dates: 7/29/13; 9/9/13 Training Hours: M-F - 7:30pm-3:30pm Transition Hours: M-F -10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm Work Hours: M-F 4pm-12am (Possibility of earlier hours depending on department need) Weekend Hours: Every other Saturday and Sunday 4pm-12am with comp days during the week About GEICO Driving your career.
