Job Duties Responsibilities The Special Investigations Unit is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Field Investigator in the Houston area (Beaumont, TX also considered) . The selected candidate will investigate bodily injury, auto theft and all other types of automobile insurance claims by conducting interviews/examinations under oath, scene investigations, vehicle examinations, clinic inspections, medical file reviews and database inquiries. The candidate will work from their residence and must be self-motivated and disciplined. Some overnight travel will be required with this position. Candidate Qualifications The qualified candidate must possess superior computer skills and a strong investigative background with a minimum of two (2) years experience with a law enforcement agency.

Prior experience working in an SIU capacity as well as Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a similar field of study is highly preferred but not required. Salary Information $51,000/yr. Important Position Details The position requires the candidate to work flexible hours and days as needed/required to complete assigned tasks. Candidate must be able to handle difficult situations that may arise when dealing with customers on the phone and in person. Some overnight travel will be required with this position.
