Job Duties Responsibilities Even minor traffic accidents or the damage caused by a rock shattering a windshield can be traumatic for our policyholders. It takes a special person to empathize and assist our customers during these situations. As a Glass Claims Specialist, you'll assist our customers that have experienced glass damage to their vehicle.

Through our comprehensive, paid training we'll teach you the fundamentals of handling glass claims and how to take initial loss reports. After training, your main responsibility will be to help our customers throughout the claims process and make arrangements for their glass damage to be repaired.

As a Glass Claims Specialist, you will:
* Receive incoming calls from existing policyholders
* Gather pertinent information to process the glass claim
* Ensure correct payment on claims as well as customer satisfaction
* Educate customers on glass repair and replacement
* Assist other departments as needed
* Maintain customer satisfaction by providing friendly and professional service Candidate Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior customer service experience
* Demonstrated job stability
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills
* High level of dependability
* Must be comfortable working in a call center environment Salary Information At GEICO, we offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary with annual merit reviews. Shift Information Start Dates: 7/8/13; 8/19/13

Training Hours: M-F - 7:30am-3:30pm or 4pm-12am
Transition Hours: M-F - 9am-5pm with every other Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm
Work Hours: M-F - 1pm-9pm or 6pm-2am
Weekend Work: Every other Saturday and Sunday with same hours as weekday assignment
