Job Duties Responsibilities LEGAL SECRETARY/ASSISTANT FULL TIME - Las Vegas Staff Counsel Office for Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO). Insurance defense/subrogation experience helpful, litigation experience required. Candidate must have exceptional organizational skills, a professional demeanor and be able to manage/prioritize workload quickly and accurately. Candidate must type 60 WPM, be computer literate and willing to learn new computer programs, CLMS in particular. The position requires working closely with attorneys in managing large caseload of civil litigation. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, generating legal pleadings, discovery, and preparing correspondence and internal reports, scheduling, maintaining attorney calendars, file organization, filing court papers, maintaining office filing, processing incoming and outgoing mail and general telephone responsibilities including communication with clients, process servers and claim department.
