Job Title: Finance and Forecasting Analyst, Industrial Affairs

This position is based in Framingham, MA and reports to the Director of Finance for IO. This individual is responsible for the activities related to planning and actuals consolidation of Industrial Operations site and functional management centers utilizing various existing tools. This organized individual must consistently communicate with customers regarding submission deadlines and ensure that they are adhered to in both timing and quality. This person is responsible for communication to and from the various recipient organizations that rely on our submissions to be timely and accurate. This person relies highly on the output of others and must be able to communicate effectively in order to achieve expected results.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide broad level validation and analysis during consolidation
• Manage expectations to limit surprises in regards to timing of submissions and articulate expected outcomes
• Fine tune process for submissions within the confounds of established processes
• Drive for schedule adherence for accuracy, completeness and timing, holding sites and functions accountable
• Prepare HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) data grids for Industrial Affairs controllers
• Provide support during planning cycle to controllers and analysts on various items such as loading packs, reinforcing training on financial tools
• Prepare PLs and other templates to help with the forecast review process
• Roll over HC and PL templates for commentary
• Finalize consolidated submissions to corporate
• Consolidate and report commentary for headcount reporting
• Establish working relationships and field questions from sites and functions on tool/system functionality, taking ownership of process
• Prepare high level adjustments as necessary
• Take part in presentation preparation to senior management
• Open scenarios for use by controllers and promoting scenarios to corporate for submissions
• Be the contact for fielding system and calendar related questions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•Degree in Accounting or Finance
•2-5 years in finance related field
•2-5 years financial systems experience
•Solid knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well with others
•General ability to interpret PL submissions and understand financial systems
•Ability to shift priorities and manage/coordinate requirements M*
