Principal Business Process Analyst

The Principal Business Process Analyst is responsible for the daily management of the organization's computerized system that supports the company's manufacturing operations in the areas of Asset Management, Reliability and Maintenance.

This position regularly consults with the site system users, site manufacturing Global IT, and Global Quality organizations with respect to business processes, process measurement, system improvements and system operation. This position maintains solid understanding of related areas/systems and their impact to ensure achievement of regulatory compliance, organizational initiatives and corporate goals.

In this role the system administrator serves as a core team leader ensuring new and existing system enhancements comply with internal/external regulations, policies and procedures. This person works independently under minimum supervision to perform the following job functions:
  • Provide system training on group and individual basis
  • Lead projects or cross-functional teams on improving and documenting system processes
  • Interact with stakeholders on matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Serve as primary contact between installed user base and system developer
  • Guide the successful completion of major programs and will function in a project leadership role
  • Evaluate, support development and oversee change control for the EAM computer systems and environments
  • Manage projects and budgets, provides timelines, oversees implementation and is accountable for timely deliverables.
  • Represent the organization as the prime contact on contracts and projects
  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment
This position requires excellent communication and documentation skills and will involve up to 25% travel (greater percentage will be local travel within Massachusetts with international travel around two or more times per year)

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years' experience in administration of an enterprise computer application
Successful Candidates Must Also Possess:
  • Experience with Cognos report writing tool
  • Proficient in writing SQL statements and commands
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A strong background in maintenance and/or reliability functions
  • Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma Methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or CMRP Certification
