Product Manager, Patient Marketing - Synvisc Franchise - Global Marketing Strategy

Drive operational marketing through product leadership differentiation, operational excellence and professional customer intimacy programmes that add significant and tangible value to Synvisc's global performance in the osteoarthritis (OA) market.

Purpose :

The Product Manager for the Synvisc Franchise will report to the Head of Global Marketing Strategy Musculoskeletal. In this critical role, she/he will be part of an integrated global team, focusing on formulating brand strategy, market planning and execution of core global initiatives and tactical programs for local implementation supporting the global expansion of the Synvisc franchise, in order to maximise sales and contribution towards operating profitability. He / she will focus on developing strategies and tactics intended to increase OA patient awareness and activation.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, plan and execute marketing programs and tactics identified to support brand strategy by increasing OA patient awareness of viscosupplement treatment and Synvisc as the treatment of choice.

Work closely with market research to identify patient needs and drivers to improve the management of their OA disease. Leverage existing intelligence and develop AdHoc surveys to generate patient's insights and assess opportunities to drive patient's awareness and preference toward Synvisc.

Interact with key countries and region representatives (Regional Liaisons) to identity needs and opportunities to build up patient awareness and activation to drive brand expansion. Prioritize markets to test the impact of selected initiatives and share best practices.

Work with global communication and digital strategies partners to integrate PR and digital communication opportunities, events and tools, in the strategic plan geared toward patients. Develop both physical and non-physical forms of communication and digital tactics/tools to increase awareness of viscosupplements for OA treatment and Synvisc.

Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, RD and Marketing/Sales teams to achieve brand initiatives and support brand plan execution.

Coordinate with external vendors (i.e. advertising agency, communication agency) the development and execution of patients awareness and activation initiatives and tools

Work continuously with the Professional Marketing team to ensure complete alignment of core brand messages platform and brand tools to be used for patients and healthcare professionals. Develop tools to facilitate communication of physicians to patients on OA and Synvisc stimulate targeted patients activation in line with global brand strategy.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Education: University level: Bachelor's degree
Experience knowledge: business experience - at least 5-8 years Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Consumer Healthcare industry experience, including experience operating in International markets.
