Senior Program Manager - Late Stage Development

Mipomersen Development Program
o Candidate will lead cross-functional team focused on execution of mipomersen clinical trials, such as FOCUS FH (MIPO38), PASS, to ensure adequate communication among key stakeholders and timely completion of key milestones. including clinical, regulatory, CPRS, manufacturing and commercial.
o Candidate to work with functional areas to understand and optimize costs/activities within the function. For example, the candidate will liaise closely with the manufacturing team regarding costs/activities related to drug product (DP) in Ridgefield, the impact of transferring drug substance (DS) manufacturing process to Sanofi Frankfurt, etc.
o Candidate to assist with developing models, gantt charts for of scenarios for clinical trials: MIPO38, PASS, as well as international submission activities/submission timelines
o Manage day-to-day project management tools using software packages including MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint, as well as Sanofi tools, such as Optime.
o Assist with budget drivers, track variances, forecasts both internally and with external partner (ISIS)
o Collaboration documentation, including minutes, VSB (vendor, scope, budget) proposals; per the Genzyme-ISIS Collaboration Agreement, reconcile forecast / actuals regularly with contract milestones etc.
o Budget/Forecast process: Work closely with Finance to track Genzyme/ISIS invoices to ensure appropriate cost sharing.
o Candidate to support Late-Stage Development Program Management activities related to internal forecasting, timeline and budget tracking, etc.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years relevant experience
· MBA is preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing, project management, FDA and EU regulations, clinical trials and drug development.

Preferred Experience
· Previous experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical business.
· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities in timely manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience should include financial analysis, accounting and / or project management. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess:
· Excellent written, oral and organizational skills,
· Effective negotiation skills to facilitate consensus building
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
