Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Scientist to join our Structural Protein Chemistry Group. You will be part of a team responsible providing analytical support to discovery and preclinical development level projects. Research will be focused on developing an understanding of the molecular basis for uptake and processing of therapeutic protein candidates in cultured cells as well as characterizing protein structure/function relationships.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related discipline with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Strong cell culture skills and significant experience with basic protein characterization techniques (UV/Vis spectrometry, HPLC, electrophoresis, Western blot analysis, protein concentration assays) are required.


Preferred Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have good communication and presentation skills, possess a strong work ethic and be motivated to excel in both individual and team environments. Experience with more sophisticated protein analytical tools (e.g., LC-MS, activity assays) is preferred.
