Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
This position resides within the Bioanalytical Development group which develops, qualifies, and transfers analytical methods used for characterization of protein and gene therapeutics in early stage development (Phase I/II). We are seeking a highly motivated individual to participate in developing, qualifying, and transferring analytical methods, based on platforms such as gel and capillary electrophoresis, enzymatic activity, HPLC, and mass spectroscopy, for the purposes of drug substance and/or drug product lot release and stability testing. Author assay protocols and technical reports, participate in sample testing, and design, execute, and interpret laboratory experiments. Abilities to multitask and work independently or with a multidisciplinary team are desired. This job is within a cGMP setting and requires excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Biology or related discipline and 5 to 8 year's experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or MS degree in Biology or related discipline and 3 to 6 year's experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience developing assays in a cGMP environment is highly desirable.
