Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
The Biologics Mass Spectrometry and Biomarker Research Group is seeking a Senior Scientist to join a dynamic and motivated team of scientists dedicated to use mass spectrometry-based platforms to provide analytical support to discovery, research and development activities across the company. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the multi-disciplinary project teams and to work with biologists to identify and design the best analytical and technical approaches to address the project needs. This individual will have in-depth understanding of biology, and be able to use the bioinformatics and statistical tool to interpret the "omics" data to support therapeutic target discovery and validation, and molecular modeling of disease and biomarker discovery.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in a life science discipline and 6 years of relevant post-doctoral or industry experience. The candidate should have a solid background in biology/proteomics research and also have in-depth experience in bioinformatics and mass spectrometry data analysis.


Preferred Qualifications:


Applicants with a background in labeled and label free quantitative proteomic and targeted proteomics are especially encouraged to apply. Strong written and oral communications skills are essential.
