The Education/Library Intern works under the supervision of the Director of Education/Librarian and Education Assistant. Duties include assisting with the annual Festival of New Artists; NYU Writers Residency; Music Direction Intensive; Audition Intensive; conducting research for a variety of educational projects; assisting with projects in the Scherer Library of Musical Theatre; marketing and planning for other Goodspeed Institute educational intensives; general correspondence clerical work, and other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Completion of at least freshman year of college and a demonstrated interest in Theatre Education. Candidates must have an attention to detail, excellent writing, communication, and research skills. Interns should also be proficient in using Excel and Word. Must have his/her own transportation.
