Future Opportunities - Tire Maintenance Technician

Description As a Mileage Sales Tire Technician you will service a major fleet operation in the local area.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Tire Service: mounting, dismounting and regrooving of heavy duty bus tires by hand, and machine.
- Balancing and flat repairs, installation on and off of vehicles utilizing air tools.
- Vehicle inspection, inflation maintenance and record keeping
- Customer relations.
- Moving buses, vans and other vehicles as required on customer's property.
- Understand and adhere to all safety standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
* Qualified candidates for this position need not have experience, but should have a positive attitude, be highly self-motivated and possess a mechanical aptitude.

* Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.

* Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.

* Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.

* Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, squatting and walking.

* Must possess a mechanical aptitude.

* Good oral and written communication ability. Must be able to speak, read and write English.

* Must be willing to work scheduled shifts including nights and weekends.

* Must be able to pass a background check including SSN verification, criminal history, etc.

* Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug tests.
