Ad Traffic Quality Analyst Job Listing at Google in CA

Description* Analyze traffic trends, and identify new filters and flags to spot invalid click activity.
* Work directly with multiple Google teams while resolving invalid click cases. * Push for policy changes by directly interfacing with Product Managers, User Interface/User Experience Engineers and other Product Specialists. * Conduct a high number of reviews (may be occasionally exposed to some adult content and other somewhat disturbing content during the process). Minimum qualifications * BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience). * Experience with one programming one or more of the following languages: Java, Perl, Python, PHP, or JavaScript. * Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments. * Knowledge of SQL and database structures. Preferred qualifications * 1 year relevant work experience. * Experience in data analysis and report generation and a solid understanding of how the Internet works. * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. * Native fluency in multiple languages. * Excellent self management skills. Ability to work independently and complete projects on time. Area The Product Quality Operations (PQO) team fights for the users.
