SUMMARY:

Hallmark has been hired by one of the best known consulting practices in the United States to help them locate and hire an IT Auditor.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a mid-career role with extensive advancement potential. This 350 person firm only has 4 IT Auditors on staff and needs another person to fill them out. This position is highly visible and will involve working directly with Partners and clients. A candidate must be technical, however possess excellent presentation/people and writing skills.

Responsibilities
• Collecting and assimilating data; understanding and documenting internal controls for organizations' process/data/workflow
• Testing internal controls related to company information assets and financial reporting
• Performing risk assessments in regards to compliance standards
• Developing creative solutions and assisting in the presentation of findings to clients
• Interacting with clients on a regular basis in relation to a variety of process and technology related projects
• Managing and taking ownership of multiple projects
• Meeting deadlines and proactively sharing project accomplishments
• Attending professional development sessions on a regular basis
• Performing assignments both individually and as part of a team
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of related experience
• IT technology and/or audit background preferred
• Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX control testing a plus
• Understanding or willingness to learn COBIT and COSO framework
• CISA exam candidate preferred
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Previous experience with managing and motivating a team
• Proven ability to mentor, coach and supervise team members
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
