About Harmony Project:
Harmony Project is an award-winning research-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that targets at-risk youth in underserved areas of Los Angeles. We promote positive youth development through on-going year-round music lessons and ensemble participation.
Harmony Project provides instruments and a multi-year program of music lessons and ensemble opportunities to children, ages 6 to 18, on a full scholarship basis, based on family income (200% of the federal poverty level). The Los Angeles-based organization offers 10 separate music programs that target students and communities with the greatest needs and the fewest resources. After enrolling in the program, nearly three-quarters of parents report improvement in their childs grades in school and behavior, as well as their childs mood and health.

This position is an unpaid, part-time position with flexible hours. Community service and fellowship credit provided where possible. We are happy to provide letters of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship. Parking available.
