HCA Virginia's CJW Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead the hospital in the development and implementation of a new Level II Trauma Center. Richmond is currently serviced by only one trauma center. Chippenham Hospital is expecting ~1350 cases with 90% blunt trauma and is scheduled to open with provisional designation 4th quarter of 2014.

Qualified candidates:

*Must be BC in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
*Must hold current ATLS certification
*Have proven track record in leading a designated Trauma Program, prefer 5+ yrs experience in leadership role
*Be willing to combine Administrative and Surgical Responsibilities (50/50)
*Have strong administrative and team building skills
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
