We are seeking an trauma orthopedist (fellowship training preferred, but significant experience will apply; will also include fellowship trained foot and ankle orthopedist)) to join one other in an employed position with a well-established, highly regarded orthopedic trauma practice in Las Vegas. The existing orthopedist has been in Las Vegas for a number of years and has developed a reputation held in high regard. There is also an opportunity for building a specialty practice, as well.
The new physician will be employed for up to two years with a competitive salary and full range of benefits. Partnership after two years is a consideration. Level II trauma call is required and can contribute significantly to income level. 5 nights of Level II trauma call/months is required. Weekend hospital trauma call is 2 weekends/month; physicians also take call for practice on weekends.
This groups covers only one facility - Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 701-bed acute care facility with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The Trauma Center is a Level II designation. The medical complex includes Nevada's only dedicated Children's Hospital and specializes in women's and children's services; cardiovascular, oncology, neurology, medical and surgical services and 24-hour emergency care.
