ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NOTE: As a mandatory requirement the incumbent’s criminal background records check will be reviewed for any previous criminal convictions.

1.The Assistant Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that all employees, including himself/herself, are actively sampling and selling at all times ant that budgeted sales are met or exceeded.

2.Shares in the responsibility of training all kiosk employees. Provides ongoing training while adhering to all company training procedures.

3.Assures proper money handling techniques are used in keeping with The Company’ policies and procedures, including register operation and bank deposits. Makes bank deposits daily or more frequently, if necessary, in accordance with company policy. Ensures the POS register is closed, balanced and prepared for polling on a daily basis. Ensures shift change counts are conducted daily and that associates complete all closing and bank deposit transactions.

4.Assists in directing and overseeing the activities of the kiosk to ensure efficient management in all aspects of the kiosk operation. Ensures required meal and rest periods are provided and taken.

5.Assures the duties, responsibilities and authority of each subordinate are clearly defined and communicated. Provides subordinates with prompt and objective coaching and counseling as needed in coordination with the Store Team Leader.

6.Ensure that The Company’ disciplinary policy and procedures are adhered to. Promptly notifies the supervisor regarding employee poor performance or infractions of company rules. Adheres strictly to the codes of conduct outlined in the Seasonal Employee Handbook.

7.Responsible for assisting in eliminating or minimizing inventory loss by preventing theft and controlling samples and spoilage, receiving shipments correctly and eliminating paperwork errors.

8.Ensures the expedient set-up and take-down of the assigned unit, if so directed by the Retail Area Supervisor.

9.Maintains and stocks kiosk with product as needed. Follows the company’s policies and procedures to assure that the assigned unit is merchandised properly and maintained at all times by all associates.

10.Responsible for maintaining safety awareness and compliance with all company safety and loss prevention programs, as well as any applicable OSHA regulations. Identifies and immediately eliminates safety hazards. Takes steps to prevent safety hazards form occurring and immediately counsels any employee observed to be engaging in unsafe acts. Reports any employee or customer injuries via telephone immediately to the Corporate Insurance Department. Submits an accurately completed Incident Report within 24 hours.

11.Responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, sanitation and quality control in the assigned kiosk.

12.Performs any other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager, Retail Area Supervisor, Sales Team Leader or other appropriate management officials.
