POSITION:Customer Service Representative
DEPARTMENT:SightLine
REPORTS TO:Sightline Team Lead
LOCATION:Texas
FLSA STATUS:Non-Exempt

BASIC PURPOSE:
Assist call center to conduct surveys with home owners as requested by their insurance carrier to review basic construction details of home and enter responses into customized software program. Excellent training provided on elements of home construction. Homeowners have been informed by their carriers to expect your call. No cold calling or phone sales are involved. If you have a successful history of Customer Service or Call Center experience, you are welcome to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Completing surveys with homeowners as requested by their homeowner's insurance carrier, collecting accurate data with excellent customer service skills.
Using time efficiently with minimum supervision.
Maintaining acceptable attendance standards.
Accepting inbound calls and making outbound calls.
Data entry on mailers.
Occasional filing.
Completing look-ups for phone numbers via directory assistance.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of customer service experience.
Specific knowledge of Insurance, Real Estate or Mortgage Industry preferred but not required.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Working knowledge of computers.
Must be detailed oriented with a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal communication skills are a must.

EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS:
PCs and various software applications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Call Center environment, spacious office layout.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to sit for extended periods of time.
Exposure to moderate noise level
Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
